Log Ingestion Limit Notification

Email notifications are available to alert users when the log ingestion limit has been exceeded before an ingestion violation. These notifications include the daily traffic limit permitted by your individual Enterprise license and the number of allowed violations remaining before the license is revoked and your Graylog instance is locked.

To verify the specific ingestion limit included in your license, view the summary of your license information at Enterprise > Licenses.

Configure Alerts for Log Ingestion Limit

To configure notification alerts in the Graylog web interface, follow the instructions below.

1. Navigate to System > Configurations, and scroll down to the Plugins menu.
2. Under “Traffic Limit Violation,” select Configure.

3. Here, select Add Recipient and enter the email addresses where you wish to receive the alert notifications.
